Join the UM Foundation for a special seminar featuring Grace Duddy Pomroy and Rev. Chick Lane to learn how to put stewardship at the heart of you congregation’s life!
The Embracing Stewardship Seminar will help you strengthen your congregation’s stewardship ministry. Mindful of generational perspectives and attuned to the world in which congregations live, Grace and Chick will offer eight pathways your congregation can follow to deepen your members’ understanding of themselves as stewards of the bounty of God.
Pomroy and Lane will dig into the heart of the matter by naming obstacles to understanding the essential spiritual discipline of stewardship. They will share perspectives from two different generations and offer a mixture of tried-and-true strategies and new approaches that will help you as a leader become confident, competent, generous steward.
The cost of the event is $25 per participant and includes lunch an a copy of the speakers' book Embracing Stewardship.
