Adventure: Nashville!

A new and exciting opportunity sponsored by the United Methodist Foundation! Adventure: Nashville is an educational travel experience to visit the (physical) center of the United Methodist Church - Nashville, TN! Home of UM Communications, the Upper Room, Abingdon, Cokesbury, the Board of Higher Education, and the General Council on Finance and Administration (GCFA). In Nashville we will explore our connection and find new ways to grow our stewardship ministry.

Programming will include a discussion with UM Communications about effective communications and branding and the tools available to us to accomplish our goals in this area. GCFA will present an overview of their organization; giving trends and best practices. We will experience Thistle Farms, a non-profit which helps women who have been involved in trafficking and prostitution get back on their feet through education, therapy and empowerment. There is also plenty of free time built in for YOU to explore Nashville - visit the Grand Ole Opry and take in local eateries with that country music flair! This unique continuing education event combines learning as well as exploring a growing hot spot!

The cost of the Adventure: Nashville trip is $700*. This includes airfare, accommodations, transportation to and from planned activities, and certain meals as indicated in the tentative schedule.
