The Core Balanced Fund utilizes a “total return” approach to determine the amount of income distributions. This methodology bases income distributions upon the combination of interest, dividends, other earnings, and capital appreciation/depreciation. Income distributions will be credited to all accounts in the Core Balanced Fund at the end of each calendar quarter – March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31.
The account holder can then elect to take a disbursement of this income in the form of a check or ACH transfer, or can elect to reinvest all or part of the income amount. Any distribution so reinvested will buy units on the day following the valuation at the unit value on the valuation date. The account holder can also choose to receive quarterly, annual, or semi-annual disbursements. When an income disbursement schedule other than quarterly is chosen, the income distributed to the account in the intervening quarters is automatically reinvested in the account.
To change the method if income disbursement for your account with the Foundation, or to begin reinvesting your income, complete our Income Distribution Change Form. To begin receiving your disbursements via ACH transfer, please complete our ACH Election Form. Both forms should be returned to our office via USPS or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Aggressive Fund and the Income and Growth Fund will not make regular distributions. Account holders may choose to set up regular withdrawals at their discretion and as determined by their own internal formula.
