April 29 - May 2, 2019
Clergy and Laity Welcome!
2 CEUs
Cost: $700*
Registration Deadline: March 25

Nashville is the (physical) center of the United Methodist Church--Communications, the Upper Room, Abingdon, Cokesbury, the Board of Higher Education, the General Council on Finance and Administration (GCFA). In Nashville, we find the heart of our connection.

We will head to Nashville to explore our connection, finding new ways to grow our stewardship ministry. UMCom will talk about effective communications and branding. What tools are available to us that we need to use in that conversation? GCFA will discuss an overview of their organization; giving trends and best practices. Experience Thistle Farms, a non-profit which helps women who have been involved in trafficking and prostitution get back on their feet through education, therapy and empowerment.

There is plenty of free time built in for YOU to explore Nashville! Visit the Grand Ole Opry and take in local eateries with that country music flair. This unique continuing education event combines learning as well as exploring a growing hot spot!

*Some scholarship funds available. Contact the UM Foundation for more information. Fee is based upon hotel accommodations, airfare, and transportation to and from airport, breakfast and lunch.
