The United Methodist Foundation of Western Pennsylvania offers
the special no-cost seminar, “Estate Planning and Your Legacy of
Faith”, to members of United Methodist churches because of the
topic’s importance to so many people. In it, we introduce
attendees to:

• The important roles of Church and State in wills
• The functions of executors, guardians, and trusts
• Estate and inheritance taxes
• Gifts to family and charities
• Misconceptions and concerns about wills

We also discuss the important roles that professionals such as
attorneys, accountants, trust officers, insurance agents,
investment brokers, and United Methodist Foundation staff
members play in shaping your will.
