Capital Campaigns

The United Methodist Foundation of Western Pennsylvania
provides capital campaign assistance for those churches
considering a program of construction, renovation or repair,
debt retirement, or ministry expansion.

“Find Us Faithful” is our capital stewardship program that can
help churches that have a significant need for funds over and
above the regular offering of members. A Planning Study,
which uses confidential interviews to provide valuable insights
for program leaders, is an integral part of any Foundation-
managed campaign. Personal consultations and training
provided by members of our field staff are also included.

A no-charge, no-obligation introductory presentation and
consultation session by a Foundation staff member can help
provide answers to important capital campaign questions,
such as:

• How much money can be raised in a capital campaign?
• Does our church need professional assistance? Can the
Foundation provide that assistance?
• What is involved in a Planning Study?
• What would be the best time for our church to begin a
capital campaign?
• How long would a campaign take?

The Foundation does charge a fee for churches that choose
to use our Capital Campaign services. If you are interested in
