Lawrence R. Scherpereel

Communications Consultant

Larry Scherpereel is a Communications Consultant for the United Methodist Foundation of Western Pennsylvania. He plans and implements communication programs that promote the services and activities of the Foundation.

Larry is an independent consultant specializing in business planning, Web site management, and strategic communications. Previously, he held management positions in engineering, marketing, and communications for Westinghouse Electric for over twenty years. His diverse experience in marketing, communications, Internet technology, and strategic planning provide an excellent background for his efforts on behalf of the Foundation.

Larry has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, has done advanced graduate work at Carnegie Mellon University, and earned his Certified Business Communicator credentials in 1986.

Larry and his wife Sue have three grown children and eight grandchildren, and reside in Murrysville.
