Karen Petrucelli

CFRE, Senior Grant Writer

Karen Petrucelli, CFRE, is the Grant Program Coordinator for the United Methodist Foundation of Western Pennsylvania. Her responsibilities include the review and monitoring of all grant applications as well as grant awards by the Foundation. She also consults with churches and agencies that are seeking assistance in obtaining grants from other sources.

In addition to her United Methodist Foundation responsibilities, Karen is President of KP Consulting LLC. KP Consulting provides comprehensive consulting services to assist nonprofit boards and staff evaluate, plan, and execute effective fundraising programs.

Karen is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She is the immediate past-president of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter, and in 1998 was named by the Chapter as Outstanding Fundraising Executive.

Prior to forming KP Consulting, Karen served as a development professional with a variety of nonprofit organizations, including Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, Asbury Foundation, Lutheran Affiliated Services, The Bradley Center, and Shadyside Hospital Foundation.

Karen lives in Allison Park with her husband, daughter, and son. She is also an active member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Glenshaw.
