Mission Statement

In carrying out our ministry, members of the Board and staff of the United Methodist Foundation of Western Pennsylvania are guided by our Mission Statement:

The United Methodist Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, through its commitment to the principles of Christian stewardship of financial resources, provides educational programs and services and responsible investment vehicles through which individuals and organizations can respond as disciples of Jesus Christ in financially supporting Christian ministries.

The Foundation’s role is to complement and reinforce the stewardship ministry of the churches, agencies and programs of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church and to act with initiative in areas of its expertise.

The Foundation serves primarily those affiliated with The United Methodist Church.
