The United Methodist Foundation is a nonprofit corporation serving the churches, agencies, clergy, and individuals of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church as they participate in the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ.

At the United Methodist Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, we want to be the people you trust for:

Helping to develop endowment, bequest, or life-income gifts for new or continuing ministries
Providing long-term funds management services for your agency or church, large or small
Educating clergy and your church leaders about financial management approaches in keeping with United Methodist doctrine
Awarding annual grants that enhance United Methodist ministries
Sponsoring stewardship-related educational programs for you and your local church
Helping your church organize a capital campaign

Established in 1970, we act in accordance with our Mission Statement and a funds management approach that is based on a Biblical, theologically sound form of Christian stewardship. This approach has resulted in careful investments and steady growth and return.

Our Board of Directors, comprised of United Methodist pastors and lay representatives of the legal, financial, corporate, educational, and ministerial communities in western Pennsylvania, governs both the policies and operations of the Foundation.

Our Executive Director, Director of Programs, Staff Accountant, and Administrative Assistant carry out the day-to-day operations of the Foundation. When required, other professionals on our staff provide specialized skills.
